MiniHive is a task app for small teams. This page explains what the app stores, why, who processes it, and how to delete it. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking, and your data is never sold.
What we store
- Account: your email address (to sign you in) and the display name you choose.
- Your hives: the tasks, checklists, comments, links, photos and files you and your teammates add, who owns which task, and who belongs to which hive.
- Honey and badges: a record of completed tasks and the honey they earned, so scores can be checked.
- Notifications: your phone's push token, your timezone and your notification settings (quiet hours, which completions you hear about).
Everything you put in a hive is visible to that hive's members. Nothing is shared outside it.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts the database, sign-in and file storage, in the EU (Ireland).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications to your phone.
- Google (Gmail) sends the sign-in emails. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name.
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Device backups are off: the app keeps a cache on your phone, and the copy that counts lives on the server.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Done tasks move to a hive's archive after three days; anyone in the hive can delete tasks for good.
Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → Delete account. It takes effect immediately:
- Your account, profile, comments, honey record, push tokens and settings are deleted.
- Hives you own pass to their longest-standing other member; a hive with nobody else in it is deleted with all its tasks.
- Tasks you worked on in shared hives stay with that team, unassigned. Photos and files you attached stay in the hive they belong to.
Can't use the app? Email support@myminibee.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my MiniHive account", and we will delete the account within 30 days.
Your rights
You can see and edit your data in the app, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it by writing to support@myminibee.com. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
MiniHive is not meant for children under 13.
